how do i tell him?

how do i tell my little brother
that the future is not what we always want it to be
how do i make him understand
that a wise people build their bright tomorrow
starting from today

how can i make him see
that i wish to go back in time and fix it,
add in some colour and clean the dirt
how can i help him to paint his next day
with rainbow and serenity
for i am not able to see my path clear
not yet

how do i make him see
that i care about him so much
and i hope the best for him

how can i make him understand
and make the most of his time today?
